Succinctly said, Chicago is truly home of the geek. Where better, then, to open a bar that caters to the geek? Where better to set down roots to start a geek empire? The beating heart of geek culture is strong and steadfast in Chicago and Geek Bar wants to be the pulse point of the geek community.

We’ve owned and operated businesses from game stores to food service to cafes. We understand what goes into day-to-day operations of what we’re trying to build. We have a classically trained chef who plays a battle chef in her live action roleplaying games. We have a geeky general manager who has started game nights in major chain restaurants. The idea has been bouncing around my head for a while, partially Inspired by the amazing Busty Girl Comics and finally brought to life by the intense body-shaming and fat hate going on in the Fat Acceptance tags. We deserve to love ourselves too. And we deserve something that exists to celebrate that. So here we go, and here’s to a hopefully long and happy life for Fat Girl Yay!

I don’t know what to do. I am so upset. Can anyone help me?

My painting was created back in 2010, (see it HERE) and since then so many people have expressed their love for it, not just on tumblr, but in many places. At least 9 people had it tattooed on their bodies. It’s one of my favourite images I created at University and I was proud of it in many ways.

Disney have used it on a cosmetics bag HERE (look at the back)
and they have produced a Tshirt HERE with a really similar design clearly modeled from my painting

I’m so mad because I have no chance at getting Disney to do anything about it. I had so much respect for the company and now I am just SO upset and disappointed.

Any help, advice or signal boosting would be amazing. And thank you so much to the kind person who messaged me about this.

Can anyone help this artist who seems to have had her work ripped off by Disney?
